Welcome to Alivia Acupuncture Clinic, where ancient healing meets modern medicine.

I am a licensed acupuncturist with over 10 years of clinical experience helping patients find relief from pain, improve their health, and enhance their quality of life. My approach combines the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine with a strong foundation in Western medicine.

Born and raised in Mexico City, I earned my Medical Doctor (MD) degree from Universidad Anáhuac School of Medicine before moving to the United States. Although I do not practice Western medicine in the U.S., my medical background allows me to understand health conditions from both Western and Eastern perspectives, helping me determine when acupuncture is appropriate and when referral to another healthcare provider may be necessary.

My passion for acupuncture began after experiencing its remarkable benefits firsthand following a knee injury. Inspired by the results, I pursued a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and have dedicated my career to helping others heal naturally.

I specialize in the treatment of pain conditions, including neck pain, back pain, shoulder injuries, sports injuries, headaches, and joint pain. I also have advanced training in women’s health and fertility, and I am proud to be a Fellow of the Acupuncture and TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine (FABORM), one of the highest credentials available in reproductive acupuncture.

In addition, I completed the Sports Medicine Acupuncture Apprenticeship Program with Whitfield Reaves, one of the leading sports acupuncture educators in the United States. This advanced training allows me to provide highly specialized treatment for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.

Beyond pain management, I help patients with stress, anxiety, digestive disorders, seasonal allergies, women’s health concerns, and overall wellness. I also offer cosmetic acupuncture for those seeking a natural approach to healthy aging and skin rejuvenation.

I believe the body has an incredible capacity to heal when given the right support. Through acupuncture, lifestyle recommendations, nutrition, and evidence-based supplementation, my goal is to help patients address the root cause of their symptoms and achieve lasting health.
